Top 20 Albums of 2010

So, I know that a "Top 20" list is an odd first topic to begin a blog with, but I thought it fitting seeing as how it's the end of the year and an apt time to look back on the tunes that really grabbed me. Also, despite the fact that I've heard some say that 2010 has been a terrible year for music, I thought it was quite a good year for music. Here you go.

The jury is still out on how I feel about the much hyped Kanye album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. It has some decent beats, but I really want to slap him, too, which might be poisoning how I feel about it. "Lost in the World" and "So Appalled" are pretty tight jams, though.

Here are some songs from the last year that either don't have a full album to call home yet or I didn't think the album was that great overall.
  1. "Out, Don't.." by Gauntlet Hair
  2. "Deadbeat Summer" by Neon Indian
  3. "Blue Moon" by Kendal Johansson
  4. "King Night" by Salem
  5. "Dancing On My Own" by Robyn
